Your Birth, Your Way

Having a baby is a forever memory. Make beautiful memories...your way!

Whether your birth is hard or easy, the first few days with your new baby will probably be a blur of snuggling, napping, and getting to know each other. It takes a lot of energy to care for a brand-new person, and one of your biggest responsibilities as a new mom is making sure your baby gets enough to eat.

Your Birth

To ensure that you and your baby have a wonderful experience in the hospital, spend some time gathering information and resources about your options before you make any decisions. You will be confident knowing you made the right choices for you and your baby.

Your Health Care Provider

Take the time to find a health care provider who understands and supports your decision to breastfeed. A supportive health care provider will explain the importance of breastfeeding for you and your baby. The right health care provider will make you feel comfortable about asking questions and will encourage you to breastfeed. Read More.

Your Hospital

Hospitals are not all the same. Deciding on the right hospital or birthing center can be just as important as finding the right doctor. Doctors generally have privileges (i.e., are able to admit patients) at one particular hospital. Ask your doctor where he/she delivers and make sure you are comfortable with the facility. Read More.

Your Birth Plan
